\r\n The federal government created the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program to provide funding and resources that assist state and local governments in identifying, managing, and reducing cybersecurity risks.

For the current funding cycle, cyber assessments are the only eligible service available under the program. Cyber Assestment: A cybersecurity assessment is a structured evaluation of how well an organization can protect its digital systems, data, and infrastructure from cyber threats. It identifies vulnerabilities, analyzes risks, and determines whether existing security controls are effective.
Through the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program, the Commonwealth provides cybersecurity services designed to help eligible entities evaluate and strengthen their existing cybersecurity environment. For the current funding cycle, cyber assessments are the only eligible service available under the program.
