Program activities include high school student support, scholarships, advising, career and workforce development, certificate programs, transfer tools and emergency financial assistance. State Farm does not publish an open application process for Education Assist. The State Farm Companies Foundation operates several programs through which employees, agents and retirees can direct charitable support.

Its Good Neighbor Grant program awards eligible nonprofits a $500 grant when a qualifying State Farm employee, agent or retiree volunteers at least 40 hours with the organization during a calendar year.
