Properties do not need to be income-producing to qualify, making owner-occupied residences eligible.
This credit can be combined with the 20% federal tax credit, potentially reducing the cost of a certified rehabilitation of an income-producing structure by 45%. The state tax credit can be carried forward for 10 succeeding tax years.
