State Violence Prevention Grant Program

State Violence Prevention Grant Program is sponsored by Wisconsin Department of Administration. A competitive grant program providing funding to support evidence-based violence prevention initiatives.

Public, private, charter, and tribal schools are eligible under the School-Based Programming category, which supports activities such as threat assessment, staff training, conflict resolution, and safety technologies that improve violence prevention and emergency response.

Office of Violence Prevention Office of Violence Prevention ​The Office of Violence Prevention was created through Executive Order #254 on January 14, 2025 to support violence and gun violence prevention efforts statewide. Further, the Office of Violence Prevention administers grants funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to address violence and gun violence prevention needs across the state.
