Community Arts Grants - Huntington Arts Council The Statewide Community Regrant (SCR) Community Arts Grant supports arts and cultural programming across all artistic disciplines, that strengthen community connections and celebrate local culture. All funded projects must be open to the public.
Individual artists, collectives, unincorporated groups, tribal organizations, and 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations with a current address in Nassau or Suffolk County are eligible to apply. Mandatory Information Sessions All applicants are required to attend a mandatory information session prior to submitting a Community Arts grant application.
You do not need to attend both an in-person and a zoom information session, please choose one. The Long Island Grants for the Arts team is available to support you throughout the application process. Join us for virtual Office Hours designed to support applicants throughout the Statewide Community Regrants process. These informal drop-in sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions, receive clarification on program guidelines, and better understand application requirements.
We encourage applicants to attend Zoom office hours prior to submission. Registration is required . Register here Application Deadline and Link to Submit The 2027 Community Arts grant application opens on Monday 7/27/2026.
Application Submission Deadline is 5pm on Monday 9/1 /2026 Once submitted your application cannot be edited. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit one week in advance, at minimum, of the deadline. Please note that no late applications will be accepted and no exceptions will be made, including in response to technical difficulties.

Community Arts Grant Awardees Next Steps and Requirements All funded Community Arts grantees must complete the following steps: • Submission of completed, signed Contract and W9 • Submission of completed Initial Project Schedule • Display of LI Grants for the Arts logo and credit line on all marketing and promotional materials • Submission of marketing and promotional materials for community engagement • Final Report completed and submitted no later than 30 days after the completion of the funded program.
Community Building – Attendance is Optional Share & Tell – These in-person events are gatherings where grantees can share their work, speak to challenges and successes, support each other and connect with the grants team and our hosting arts organization. Legislator Letter – We encourage you to connect with your legislators by sharing news of your funding award and inviting them to experience your programming.
