STEAM Ahead Internships | Apply Today 2022 Michigan STEAM Ahead (formally STEM Forward) interns at Wacker Chemical. Note: On December 18, 2025, the MEDC announced that the legislature did not approve funding for talent programs, including STEAM Ahead, in the state’s FY 2026 budget. As a result, the program will be paused indefinitely.
