This grant provides tribes with resources to build the necessary capacity to negotiate, implement, and monitor co-stewardship agreements, which will promote grassland heath and connectivity. This work is made possible through generous support from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (with funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Forest Service) and the Doris Duke Foundation.
