Request for Expressions of Interest: Juvenile Group Home Training and Technical Assistance Cohort Release Date: March 23, 2026 Purpose of this Request: The Group Home Priority Area focus group has identified a need to better standardize practices and to improve the availability of best practice resources across group homes operating within Montgomery County.
A primary step in this effort is the creation of standardized training and technical assistance tools that ensure all juvenile group homes in Montgomery County have access to the same information and care.
As such, the ADAMHS Board for Montgomery County is proud to pilot the Group Home Empowerment Academy, a multi-session training program designed to build upon the existing skills of group home leaders, clinicians, and volunteers to enhance impact and outcomes for young people.
The ADAMHS Board for Montgomery County is seeking individuals working with established Montgomery County group homes to participate in the premier cohort of the Group Home Empowerment Academy. The training is designed to benefit all individuals working in a Group Home, no matter the scope of their role.
However, for each individual cohort, the curriculum is designed for one individual to attend all sessions within that cohort uninterrupted. Thus, the same individual must attend all sessions as outlined in the timeline below and meet all components of the training as outlined in the curriculum. Prior to developing a proposal, the ADAMHS Board for Montgomery County is seeking to measure interest in system-wide implementation of the Zero Suicide Framework across Montgomery County.
Community-based primary care or behavioral healthcare settings, emergency departments, and public health agencies who are interested in implementing the Zero Suicide Framework within their internal network should respond to this EOI. 21, the Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board for Montgomery County is one of 50 Boards coordinating the public behavioral health and addiction treatment and recovery system in Ohio.
For almost 60 years, the ADAMHS Board of Montgomery County has been responsible for the planning, funding, and monitoring of public mental health and addiction treatment services for individuals and families of Montgomery County, Ohio.
MCADAMHS fulfills this role through oversight of and support to a county-wide continuum of care through policy development, thoughtful direction and vision, strategic funding allocation decisions, data collection and data sharing, and strategic alignment to priorities at the state and community level.
Purpose of this Request: Annually, the ADAMHS Board for Montgomery County requests applications for funding for the delivery of Prevention, Early Intervention, Treatment, and Supportive Services to occur during the next calendar year fiscal period. MCADAMHS recognizes that the financial requirements of delivering human services might not always align with this funding cycle.
As such, the ADAMHS Board for Montgomery County is releasing this Request for Expressions of Interest for New and Expansion Projects, which will remain open through May 29, 2026 at 5 PM EST as an avenue for appropriately licensed behavioral health organizations to propose expansion or new programs and services mid-cycle. Programs and Services must propose to utilize an evidence-based or evidence-informed practice.
A sample listing of appropriate service and program types are included in Appendix A of this document. Deadline: Applications are accepted on a continuous basis as funding remains through May 29, 2026 at 5 PM.
