Sess. chapter 10, article 3, section 15, subdivision 4 for grants to develop a student support personnel workforce pathway focused on increasing licensed school psychologists, school nurses, school counselors, and school social workers of Color and Indigenous.

At least 80% of grant funds awarded in this program must be used to cover the cost of attendance or provide resources for practicum or other relevant and required field placements. Recognizing the barriers for completing approved licensure programs, grant funds may also be used to provide direct support, including wrap-around services, to enroll and be successful in any of the programs identified above.

This grant opportunity is open to accredited colleges or universities offering degree programs in the fields of school psychology, social work, school counseling, and/or nursing. Institutions may apply for multiple programs (e.g. school psychology and social work) and must complete a separate application and budget for each program area.

Eligible programs must meet the following standards: School psychology program granting educational specialist certificates or doctoral degrees in school psychology must be approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) or accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) Undergraduate or graduate level programs in social work must be accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Graduate level school counselor programs must be accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Services (CACREP) Undergraduate level nursing programs must be from a regionally accredited college or university Due Date: August 4, 2025, at 5 p.
