gov Deadline: November 13, 2026, 11:59 PM FY 2025-2026 Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids (SAS-C) Grants Program Guidelines FY 2026-2027 Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids (SAS-C) Grants Program Guidelines - Coming soon * Please note: the updated FY 26/27 guidelines will be released after September 15, 2026 The Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids (SAS-C) Grants Program was created as a joint initiative of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and The Children’s Trust.
The SAS-C Grants Program is funded by The Children’s Trust, a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County. The objective of the SAS-C Program is to grant funding to nonprofit organizations to provide underserved children in Miami-Dade County with opportunities to attend high quality cultural arts and science summer camp programs at little or no cost.
Funding through the SAS-C Grants Program is intended to augment established, high quality programs, providing more children with the opportunity to participate in cultural arts and science summer camps.
Priority attention is given to projects that address children whose ability to participate in such programs may be limited by geography, economics or disability, projects in which unduplicated children underwritten by SAS-C funding will attend the camp program for four weeks or more, and projects that are able to expand program offerings and/or capacity in order to reach a broader population of underserved children and youth.
Applicants to this program must have a minimum one-year track record of providing high quality, comprehensive and specialized cultural arts or science camp programs for children and/or youth in Miami-Dade County.
Applicants to this program must be the entity directly responsible for managing, overseeing and implementing all administrative aspects of the proposed camp program, including but not limited to camper registration, program design, implementation, contracting for outside artists/services, scheduling, reporting, data collection, etc. Mandatory Pre-Application Requirements: All applicants must attend a SAS-C Workshop prior to submitting an application.
Click here to RSVP to attend a SAS-C Pre-Grant Submission Workshop Notification regarding changes to eligibility requirements for the SAS-C and YEP grant programs Contract Compliance and Reporting Requirements for SAS-C Grantees: In addition to the Final Report forms in SurveyMonkey Apply and accompanying documentation required, grantees awarded through SAS-C shall: utilize pre- and post- assessments and submit documentation to measure the specified outcome indicators; and submit the student roster documenting the participant demographics specified, attendance, and performance measures.
Grantees must also attend a one-day All Kids Included (AKI) Professional Development Workshop on Inclusion Strategies for Children and Youth with Disabilities.
