Equipment Grants | Empower Healthcare Access Today — Superior Health Foundation Assisting organizations in the Upper Peninsula to purchase necessary health-related equipment that will benefit the health and well-being of U. P. residents.
CONCEPT CALLS OR PAPERS December 18, 2025 CONCEPT CALLS OR PAPERS September 3, 2026 The intent of this grant program is to assist organizations in the Upper Peninsula to purchase necessary health-related equipment that will benefit the health and well-being of U. P. residents.
Examples include, but are not limited to, equipment that will: Address the health technology needs of an organization to improve service delivery Improve health-related transportation Improve treatment processes for patients or clients Assist with health-related program expansion Any tax-exempt organization based in the Upper Peninsula working to improve health outcomes in the region, with preference given to grassroots organizations, tribal communities, and small and medium-sized nonprofits.
Please note: AED requests are no longer considered under the equipment grant program. Start with a concept call or paper Schedule a concept call or submit a concept paper to share your project idea with SHF. Schedule a call with Program Officer Nicky Bates, or email a one-pager to nbates@shfmi.
org to discuss your idea. This is not required for Equipment Grants, but it is highly recommended. Complete and submit your application The Superior Health Foundation Board of Directors has sole responsibility for all grant decisions.
