Breast Health Fund | Support Breast Health Today — Superior Health Foundation The Superior Health Foundation’s Breast Health Fund provides direct assistance to individuals who face breast health-related medical expenses.
This resource supports individuals who are either uninsured or underinsured, face high deductibles or co-pays, or need financial support for screenings, diagnostic tests, treatments, and other costs associated with their breast health journey, such as travel and transportation, and medical devices or equipment. The Fund is administered by the Marquette County Health Department.
The Breast Health Fund is made possible by generous donations from individuals and foundations across the Upper Peninsula and through our annual Paint the Peninsula Pink fundraiser. To qualify for this assistance, individuals must live in the Upper Peninsula and apply directly to the Superior Health Foundation.
There are no income restrictions, and individuals facing financial challenges from breast health costs are especially encouraged to apply. Eligible individuals can receive one-time support of up to $2,500, and may reapply after two years if they are still facing breast health-related treatment costs.
