Innovate Alabama SBIR/STTR Matching Program is sponsored by Innovate Alabama. Innovate Alabama offers matching funds for small businesses that have received a federal SBIR/STTR Phase I or Phase II grant. This program would be highly relevant for a small business focused on clinical decision support that has secured federal SBIR/STTR funding, providing additional state-level support for their innovative healthcare technology.

Healthy Homes Production Grant Program (HHP) is sponsored by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH). This program provides funding to cities, counties, states, tribes, and 501(c)(3) nonprofits to identify and remediate housing health and safety hazards, including mold, radon, pests, carbon monoxide, and injury risks, in low-income homes. It takes a comprehensive approach to address multiple hazards rather than focusing on a single issue. A new Weatherization Supplemental is also available. Prior-round awardees from FY 2024 are ineligible for this cycle. The program emphasizes protecting vulnerable residents and strengthening local capacity.

Community Mental Health Services Block Grant (MHBG) is sponsored by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The MHBG program makes funds available to states and jurisdictions to provide comprehensive community mental health services to adults with serious mental illnesses, including persons aged 18 and older whose condition substantially interferes with or limits one or more major life activities. Grantees can use funds for new or unique programs or to supplement current activities.
