Supplemental Services - MNABE Three percent of state Adult Education funding is used to fund activities that support adult education programs and staff across Minnesota in key areas, as outlined in Minnesota Statute 124D. 522 . The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) makes this funding available through Adult Education Supplemental Service Grant opportunities.
Eligible applicants must be non-profit organizations or adult basic education grant-funded providers.
Current Supplemental Service Grants focus on providing support to Minnesota adult education programs and staff in the following areas: Assessment and Support Staff Training Digital Learning and Technology Services Professional Development and System Support Racial Equity in Adult Education Statewide Initiatives, Conference, and Marketing Activities Volunteer and Outreach Services Learn more about the current supplemental service grants and the services they provide through the Adult Education Support Network.
Adult Education Support Network The Minnesota Department of Education conducts a grant competition for Adult Education Supplemental Service funding every three years.
