This FOA will support the implementation of comprehensive HIV services in the Addis Ababa City Administration by undertaking strategic planning, program management, capacity building, site level implementation, coordination, and monitoring of HIV prevention, care and support, and treatment activities.
The awardee will implement its program in accordance with the goals of PEPFAR to attain maximum programmatic impact by preventing new infections, identifying and linking HIV infected individuals, engagement and retention of persons living with HIV (PLHIV) in care and treatment services, and ensuring patients receiving Anti-Retroviral Treatment have optimal viral suppression.
These activities will contribute to achieving the 90-90-90 UNAIDS targets set to be achieved by 2020. This FOA will enable the sustainable provision of quality HIV program services and foster local ownership. Funding Opportunity Number: CDC-RFA-GH17-1741.
