Support Program for Organizations Serving the English-Speaking Communities | Gouvernement du Québec Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise Support Program for Organizations Serving the English-Speaking Communities Support Program for Organizations Serving the English-Speaking Communities Funds allocated for 2026-2027 fully committed New applications for financial assistance will start on April 1, 2027.

Presentation and Objectives The program will support organizations, institutions and partnership networks that provide services to English-speaking communities by providing financial assistance for core funding or for projects of local, regional or national scope.

More specifically, it aims to achieve these objectives, which are specific to issues related to community vitality: Increase the capacity of organizations, institutions, and partnership networks to provide services to English-speaking communities in Quebec. Improve the accessibility of community and public services for English-speaking Quebecers.

The program has two components: Component 1: Core funding Grant agreements have a maximum duration of three years from the date of signing Component 2: Project support Grant agreements have a maximum duration of two years from the date of signing Applicants eligible for the program: Non-profit organizations registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec (REQ) that offer services to English-speaking communities Cooperatives and social economy businesses registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec (REQ) whose mission is to offer services to English-speaking communities including community businesses under the Cooperatives Act or the Social Economy Act Municipal entities and public institutions in the education and health and social services sectors.

In the case of primary, secondary and post-secondary educational institutions and health and social services establishments, the expenditures must not be covered by the Québec government’s budget regulations Subject to the budget availability of the Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise for each fiscal year in this normative framework, the grant awarded under the program cannot exceed the following amounts for both components: $100 000 for a local organization $300 000 for a regional organization $500 000 for a province-wide organization The maximum allowable in regards to funding agreements for specific activities of national significance is $2.

5 million. Please note that the financial assistance granted by the Secretariat corresponds to a maximum of 80% of eligible expenses. A minimum of 20% of eligible expenses must be covered by the applicant or its partners.
