Supporting Neighborhoods Grants is sponsored by The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida (TCFNF). These grants bolster local grassroots efforts by nonprofit organizations enhancing neighborhood leadership, affordable housing access, and economic opportunities for marginalized communities in Northeast Florida.

Supporting Neighborhoods Grants - The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida Supporting Neighborhoods Grants Local leadership and grassroots efforts have long shaped Northeast Florida’s diverse communities and rich cultural tapestry. Since our earliest days, The Community Foundation has provided partnership and funding to support organizations that are lifting up our local neighborhoods.

These grants are available to support projects and programs that foster inclusive prosperity in neighborhoods with high concentrations of poverty . Grant size: Up to $25,000 Supporting Neighborhood grants are available to support projects and programs that foster inclusive prosperity in neighborhoods with high concentrations of poverty.

Inclusive prosperity is a decrease in poverty rates without displacement of community members, as defined in research conducted by Common Good Labs and published by the Brookings Institution. Successful applications will draw a clear line between their project and/or program and its positive impact upon at least one of the following indicators identified in the study above: Decreasing Displacement Risk Increasing Rates of Homeownership Decreasing Residential Vacancy Rates Increasing Housing Density Increasing Self-Employment Rate Strengthening Community Organizations Nonprofit organizations with a current 501(c)(3) public charity or private operating foundation status, or religious institution Annual operating budget of $100,000 or above Located in and serving at least one of these counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St.

Johns Fundraising event sponsorships Programs promoting religious beliefs* Schools (public, private and charter) and school-based organizations (PTAs, boosters, etc.) Requests outside our region (Applicants must be in: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns *Grants may be made to faith-based organizations for the non-religious programs offered to the broader community.
