Survive & Thrive Financial Aid is sponsored by The Madeline Kingsbury Foundation. Provides financial assistance to survivors of domestic abuse and violence to support their path to safety, stability, and healing.

The Madeline Kingsbury Foundation Survive & Thrive Financial Aid Survive & Thrive Financial Aid A $800 biannual grant supporting survivors of domestic abuse and violence on their path to safety, stability, and healing. The Survive & Thrive Financial Aid is offered by The Madeline Kingsbury Foundation to support individuals who are navigating life after domestic abuse or violence.

This aid is intended to help relieve immediate financial burdens so survivors can focus on safety, healing, and rebuilding. Completed applications can be printed and emailed to: survive. thrive@joytricklesin.

org This financial aid is intended for individuals who: Are survivors of domestic abuse or domestic violence Are experiencing financial hardship related to their situation Need assistance for one or more of the following: Relocating away from an abuser Rent or down payment assistance Medical bills related to abuse Counseling or therapy services Food or basic living needs Applicants must meet at least one of the above criteria and be willing to share their story as part of the application process.

Frequency: Awarded twice per year One recipient in December Applications are reviewed and voted on by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. All applications are handled with care, confidentiality, and respect.

What You’ll Need to Apply To complete your application, you will be asked to provide: Basic personal information Written responses describing: Your experience with domestic abuse or violence The aftereffects you are navigating How would this financial aid support your needs? A trusted family member or friend who is aware of your situation You may also include recommendation letters or additional documentation if you choose.

We understand that sharing your story and asking for references can be difficult. These steps exist to protect the integrity of the program and ensure aid reaches those who truly need it. Application Deadline: June 1, 2026 Aid Awarded By: June 30, 2026 (December cycle dates will be announced separately.)
