Sustainability Institute Opens 2026 Student Sustainability Research Grant Program | Graduate School Sustainability Institute Opens 2026 Student Sustainability Research Grant Program From the Ohio State Sustainability Institute The Ohio State University is dedicated to advancing education, research, innovation and partnerships related to sustainability.
To further these goals, the Sustainability Institute is pleased to offer funding to support student research in sustainability. Priority will be given to student research that creates opportunities to use our campuses as living laboratories or connects Ohio State to our local communities. The maximum award per application is $5,000, and the total funding available is $40,000 for the spring semester 2026 grant offering.
Since the Sustainability Institute launched in 2019, it has awarded over $275,000 to over 70 student projects through this grant program. Learn more and apply for the grant
