Projects will target all Ohioans in need of services, regardless of race, ethnicity, or income. Priority will be given to projects in service areas demonstrating the greatest need for lupus programming, and to applicants developing services in accordance with the mission of the funding agency. Preference will be given to projects that focus expenses on costs related to project services More Informationhttps://mih.
ohio. gov/grant-opportunities/biannual-grants/lupus-grants Financial Details Up to $118,000 is expected to be available to support awards of up to $19,000 per year through this program. The project period will begin on July 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2026.
Applicants may be eligible for a non-competitive second year of funding, contingent on measured outcomes during the first year of funding. If Minority Health Month (MHM) activities involve an in-person event, applicants may charge travel expenses to the award. Indirect costs, rent, administrative, maintenance, repair, and other related costs are limited to 15 percent of the amount requested.
Health fairs and public awareness activities may not be exclusive activities and must be conducted in conjunction with other eligible activities, such as patient education.
