Tampa CRA Commercial Grants is sponsored by City of Tampa Community Redevelopment Agency. Provides grants to improve commercial properties in designated underutilized CRA areas, aiming to enhance aesthetics and economic vitality.

Tampa CRA Commercial Grants | City of Tampa Tampa CRA Commercial Grants Legacy Credit was designed to reward property owners who already have an existing financial commitment in the Tampa CRA. Long-term property owners may be able to reduce or eliminate grant owner-match requirements and utilize direct contractor payments of the grant awards. Staff is scheduling required pre-application meetings for prospective Commercial Exterior, Commercial Interior, and Commercial Design grant applicants. As usual, applications may only be submitted following a successful Pre-Application Meeting. Appointments may be requested by calling (813) 274-8325 or by submitting an online request . No grant application shall be accepted for review until after a pre-application meeting with staff has occurred. Grant funds are provided at the discretion of the CRA Board and the submission of an application does not create an entitlement to funding.

Grants will be awarded on a first-qualified, first-awarded basis while fiscal year funds are available. Applicants may exhaust the maximum allowable grant across each TCRA.
