Target Local Store Giving Program is sponsored by Target Corporation. Target stores care about their communities. Eligible non-profit 501(c)3 organizations, accredited schools, or government agencies may request a Target GiftCard donation from their local store.

Emerging creatives & culture Corporate giving programs Community Engagement Funds The Community Engagement Funds (CEF) program empowers Target stores and distribution center leaders to make meaningful, localized giving decisions that meet the needs of communities where our team members and guests live and work. Circle members earn votes when they shop and can use them to help direct Target grants to nonprofits in their communities. As each voting period wraps up, Target awards grants to the nonprofits based on the percentage of votes they receive. If your organization is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) or accredited school, you may go to any of our stores to request a Target GiftCard donation. To be considered, please fill out the GiftCard request form completely, print it out and bring it into your local Target store. You will need to provide a Government Affirmation letter or other IRS-provided letter for verification of your nonprofit organization or accredited public school status.

Target GiftCard donations are available February through December, as funding permits. An average donation is $25-50 with the maximum donation of $500 per year, per agency. Target does not donate merchandise.

Stores typically take up to 30 days to review a request and respond with an approval or decline. Start with the GiftCard request form To request a charitable contribution, your organization must be a federally tax-exempt section 501(c)(3) charitable organization or accredited school located in the United States or one of its protectorates.

Community support and disaster response investments In times of crisis or humanitarian need, we make sure our partners have what they need to help communities. We’re on the scene quickly providing supplies, volunteers and distribution networks through relief organizations. Our global supply chain can move quickly to support our stores and guests.
