Tau Grants is sponsored by Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay (Administering for various foundations). Tau Grants provide unrestricted general operating support to help nonprofit organizations thrive. The focus is on strengthening the organization's overall mission and goals and furthering its charitable purpose, rather than specific projects or programs.

Nonprofit Leadership Center Tau Grants are intended to strengthen the health and well-being of communities across our six-county region. These grants specifically support small nonprofit organizations that expand access to healthcare services or promote economic mobility .

We prioritize organizations that both serve and are led by people from historically marginalized communities, including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and immigrants. Tau Grants provide unrestricted general operating support to help these organizations thrive.

Technical Assistant Grant Technical Assistance (TA) Grants help agencies to improve the quality and accessibility of their services and support to children and families in Hillsborough County. Technical Assistance Grants are intended to assist not-for-profit organizations aligned with CBHC focus areas, in building their capacity through strategic activities that strengthen their ability to operate effectively over the long term.

The Children’s Board of Hillsborough County invests in programs and services that support four focus areas: Children Are Healthy & Safe Children are Developmentally on Track Children are Ready to Learn & Succeed Grant – Current Application Deadline May 1, 2026 The Susan Terry Foundation Proudly supports local opportunities and initiatives through community-focused grants in Tampa Bay and Sarasota.

The Susan Terry Foundation is committed to strengthening communities by supporting innovative, impactful projects that serve the public good. Through our grant program, we provide funding to individuals, organizations, and research teams working on non-event initiatives that align with our mission of community enrichment and positive change.

We invite applicants with clearly defined goals, thoughtful planning, and a strong commitment to making a difference. Whether you’re launching a new program, conducting meaningful research, or developing a long-term community initiative, we encourage you to apply. This program does not fund event sponsorships or promotional activities.

Grant – Current Application Deadline May 21, 2026 Florida Blue Foundation is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations across the state who are dedicated to advancing mental well-being for vulnerable populations in Florida.

The Foundation is seeking proposals from Florida-based nonprofits to advance mental well-being for families and community members to mitigate the stressors associated with issues that often impact entire families and/or communities.

To achieve this goal, the Foundation will fund two key focuses: Enhancing Access to Mental Health Services Strengthening Florida’s Mental Health Workforce Community Assistance Grants – Current Application Deadline March 31, 2026 The Junior League of Tampa Community Assistance Grants provide financial support (up to $3,000) and/or volunteers, if needed, to nonprofit organizations hosting a project or initiative in Hillsborough County.

Projects requesting volunteers are considered “Done in a Day” events by providing volunteers and funds to local nonprofit agencies. The “Done in a Day” program manages requests for volunteers on short-term projects of charities and community organizations.

The Junior League of Tampa focus areas are education and child welfare, but may provide financial assistance to an agency providing a community need outside of one of these issue areas.

The application for Community Assistance Grants is open biannually: Grant application open: August 5 – October 31 Application review, site visits, and selection: November-December Notification of selection or declination: December-January Grant application open: January 1-March 31 Application review, site visits, and selection: April-May Notification of selection or declination: May-June Regional Grants – Current Application Deadline July 31, 2026 Capacity Building Fund – Current Application Deadline May 15, 2026 Nonprofit Training Resource Fund – Rolling Application The TD Charitable Foundation funds programs aligned to one or more of the four drivers of their corporate citizenship platform, the TD Ready Commitment , with special consideration given to those that benefit historically underserved communities and low-to-moderate income people: In recognition of the innovative potential in the Suncoast, United Way Suncoast is launching a new community investment opportunity: the ACE Grant.

The ACE grant is an operational investment of up to $20,000 in organizations with an annual revenue of up to $2. 1 million. The funding is designed to help unlock barriers to innovation and spark the next steps forward for: A ccess: Services and solutions are only as effective as they are accessible.
