The goal of the grant program is to assist communities in attracting and growing high-quality sports events to generate significant economic impact through participant spending. The maximum grant per event is $20,000 to be paid as a reimbursement. Funding is provided from the Indiana Destination Development Corporation and administered by Indiana Sports Corp. A grant committee with statewide representation determines all grant awards.
February 11, 2026 & Beyond November 1, 2026 & Beyond Team Indiana Grant Process Non-profit organizations hosting a sporting event in Indiana are eligible to apply for a grant. Check out the grant guidelines for more details and requirements. Applications are accepted year-round, following the above deadlines.
The Grant Committee meets after each deadline to evaluate applications. Grant recipients will receive grant funding once all parts of the post event report and economic impact calculations are complete.
