TECH Clean California Single-Family Heat Pump HVAC Incentives is sponsored by Southern California Edison Company (Administered under California Public Utilities Commission). These incentives are available for general market customers interested in the purchase and installation of heat pump HVAC technology. Incentives can be layered with federal 25C Energy Efficiency Home Improvement Residential Tax Credits.

TECH Clean California offers single family heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater incentives that may vary depending on technology and income qualifications. See more incentive availability below. As of February 24, 2026 , HEEHRA single family rebates are fully reserved for projects statewide.

In addition, the program is no longer accepting new income verification applications for single family projects statewide. All submitted reservation requests for projects in the Northern California region that were not approved have been put on a waitlist in case additional funding becomes available. Reservations submitted after February 24, 2026, will also be put on the waitlist.

Waitlisted projects are only eligible for a HEEHRA rebate if the heat pump is installed after the reservation is approved. As of January 7, 2026 , HEEHRA rebates for single family homes in Central California and Southern California are fully reserved. All reservation requests for projects in the Central and Southern regions that were not approved prior to January 7 have been put on a waitlist.

Reservations submitted after January 7, 2026, will also be put on this waitlist. Waitlisted projects are only eligible for a HEEHRA rebate if the heat pump is installed after the reservation is approved. As of November 12, 2025 , TECH Clean California single-family heat pump water and heat pump HVAC incentives are nearly reserved statewide therefore, November 14, 2025 , is the last day to make sales and create reservations.

As of July 3, 2025 , 3CE incentives are fully reserved for this program cycle. Therefore, July 3, 2025, is the last day to submit claims.
