Technical Assistance Grant Program is sponsored by Community Foundation of Mendocino County. This program provides technical assistance, including web conferencing subscriptions, to nonprofit organizations in Mendocino County. Grants are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Technical Assistance Grant Program - Community Foundation of Mendocino County Technical Assistance Grant Program History : During the COVID-19 crisis The Community Foundation focused on connecting individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations in Mendocino County with much-needed resources. This included providing Technical Assistance Grants to nonprofit organizations needing to adapt to remote work.

Thanks to a grant from Rebuild Northbay Foundation the Community Foundation was able to extend the impact of this grant program during the pandemic. Purpose : The goal of this grant program is to provide nonprofit organizations in Mendocino County with technical assistance, including web conferencing subscriptions. Grants are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to eligible nonprofit organizations in Mendocino County.

Criteria: To be eligible for this program the applicant organizations must: Serve residents of Mendocino County and be located within Mendocino County. Be legally chartered in California and in possession of determination letter from the IRS declaring the organization a public charity that is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3); or have an aligned mission with a nonprofit fiscal sponsor.

Conduct business without discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, national origin, or religious affiliation. Since the outbreak of the pandemic we have witnessed an outpouring of generosity, and many are still seeking meaningful ways to help our community. For over 25 years we have facilitated giving in our community and want to continue supporting giving in all its forms. So, we spoke with the non-profits facing today’s crisis, and learned what their needs are now and into the future.
