Technical Assistance grants (PATH Foundation) is sponsored by PATH Foundation. Provides funding to nonprofit organizations for capacity-building needs such as technology upgrades, leadership training, strategic planning, and professional development.

Program & Planning Grants General Operations Grants Better Together is a year-round funding opportunity that provides $2,500 to cover the costs of supplies, materials, meals, etc. in support of community-facing events that bring people together.

Eligible nonprofits are encouraged to apply and to collaborate with other groups, individuals, or funding partners to maximize impact of community-facing events. Organizations eligible for consideration must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, religious institution, or local government entity serving Fauquier, Rappahannock, or Culpeper counties. Events must be held within six months of submission.

Requests cannot backfill already incurred costs. Only one Better Together event will be funded per organization annually. Fundraising cannot be the sole purpose of the event.

Requests must be consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the PATH Foundation. Example: First Baptist Church, in Warrenton, hosted a Back-to-School Fun Night where community members engaged in fellowship, food, and fun—including arts and crafts, games, painting, jewelry making, and a school supply giveaway.

Fauquier and surrounding counties’ residents were invited to attend, as well as neighbors in close proximity to the church and families at the local shelter. If you have questions or need assistance with submission, contact Beth Foddrell at bfoddrell@pathforyou. org .

Let’s Volunteer! is a year-round funding opportunity that provides $2,500 to cover the costs of supplies, materials, meals, etc. in support of volunteer-driven projects that serve our community. Eligible nonprofits are encouraged to apply and to collaborate with other groups, individuals, or funding partners to maximize the impact and budget of their volunteer projects.

Organizations eligible for consideration must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, religious institution, or local government entity serving Fauquier, Rappahannock, or Culpeper counties. Volunteer projects must be held within six months of submission. Requests cannot backfill already incurred costs.

Only one volunteer project/event will be funded per organization annually. Fundraising cannot be the sole purpose of the event. Requests must be consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the PATH Foundation.

Example: PlayDate, a children’s museum in Culpeper, received funding to support the beautification of their shared patio and raised garden with the help of volunteers recruited via the PATH Volunteer Hub.
