Technical Assistance & Training Grant is sponsored by Rural Housing Service (USDA). This program assists qualified private organizations, nonprofit organizations, and public (including tribal) intermediary organizations in Puerto Rico to carry out financial and technical assistance programs.
The goal is to improve housing, community facilities, and community and economic development projects in rural areas of Puerto Rico that have received a Presidential declaration of a major disaster. The intermediary (Grantee) provides financial and technical assistance to recipients, who in turn provide programs to their communities.
It aims to build capacity and technical assistance for more competitive funding applications and successful project completion.
