Some examples of funding are: audits, technical writers, and interns.
Existing OpenSSF TIs with a documented lifecycle phase (e.g., sandbox, incubating, or graduated) are eligible for funding. NOTE: Depending on the lifecycle phase of your TI, you may already qualify for things like a logo, stickers, or other swag; see TI Gives and Gets . Determine if you/your project is qualified for funding.
We’ll ask you to provide the following details about your TI including, but not limited to: What’s needed to make the funding initiative happen Submit TI Funding Request The OpenSSF TAC is responsible for approving technical initiative funding requests with final approval from the OpenSSF General Manager. Reviews will be conducted bi-monthly – view the schedule .
The TAC reviews each funding request based on the following criteria: Is this request in line with the TAC Technical Vision ? Is this request in line with the OpenSSF Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategy ? Does the requester(s) have an accepted TI lifecycle phase in good standing?
