Technology and Equipment Program Invitational II (TEP) is sponsored by COPS Office. To receive notifications on funding The Fiscal Year 2024 Technology and Equipment Program (TEP) is for grants to State, local, Tribal, territorial, and entities to develop and acquire effective equipment, technologies and interoperable communications that assist in responding to and preventing crime. The goal of the program is to increase the community policing capacity and crime prevention efforts of law enforcement agencies.
The objective is to provide funding for projects which improve police effectiveness and the flow of information among law enforcement agencies, local government service providers, and the communities they serve. This is an invitational program. Eligible applicants are limited to those identified in the Congressional Joint Explanatory Statement (JES) for projects designated for funding.
The list of eligible applicants can be found here . There is approximately $247,347,161 in funding available through FY 2024 TEP. Each award is for two years (24 months) in duration.
