Transform your classroom with TIGER Grant funding Views on Learning (VOL) offers the Technology Innovation Grants for Educational Resources (TIGER) Grant as part of our mission to help schools achieve their educational objectives.

The TIGER Grant awards a cumulative total of up to $250,000 per year to select schools within our service areas. Each eligible school may receive up to $25,000, based on enrollment. The TIGER funding is to be used for the procurement of technology and related items for direct academic instruction.

In service areas where available, the awarded school(s) may additionally request a limited number of Zoom® video conferencing licenses and up to 10 mobile hotspots to access cellular-based wireless broadband internet. The 2025 TIGER Grant application window runs from March through September.

TIGER Grant eligibility requirements The following TIGER Grant requirements shall be implemented: The public, private, or charter school must be located in one of VOL’s service areas. Determine your eligibility by entering your zip code during the online application process. The school must be accredited by their state department of education or other recognized accreditation agency.

Only one grant per school or district will be considered during a grant cycle. To support a wider range of organizations, priority will be given to schools that have not received a TIGER Grant in the past three years.

TIGER Grant eligibility requirements The TIGER Grant is not available to individuals, political parties, labor or veterans' organizations, religious or fraternal groups (except accredited parochial, private, and charter schools), volunteer emergency groups, athletic activities, courtesy advertising, or fundraising events.

TIGERGrant maximum funding The TIGER Grant maximum funding amounts are on a sliding scale, based on enrollment: Application review and award notification process Grant applications will be reviewed and scored by the VOL Grant Review Committee. The grant rubric is based on a 90-point scale, and grants are awarded to the top scorers.

TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION GRANT FOR EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES (TIGER) Views On Learning is an Indiana-based 501c(3) educational non-profit holding Educational Broadband Service (EBS) licenses that provide wireless internet service in several service areas throughout the United States. Part of our mission is to use these resources to assist schools in our service areas with their educational objectives.

In furtherance of that mission, Views on Learning annually grants schools within our Educational Broadband Service Areas funding to purchase technology for student use. VOL awards a total of up to $250,000 per year. The grants are competitive and eligible schools may receive up to $25,000.

Applications typically are submitted between April 1st and May 15th, with grants awarded in early June. All grants must be submitted through the VOL TIGER Grant Application Online Portal at : https://viewsonlearning.
