Ten $10,000 Woodshop Grants Program is sponsored by The Paul and Pascale Edelman Giving Fund. This program awards ten restricted grants of $10,000 each to U.S.-based woodworkers and furniture makers exclusively for woodshop improvements through the purchase of machines and tools. Applicants need at least three years of experience or specialized training in woodworking or furniture making, evidenced by a professional portfolio.

Official Rules - Ten $10,000 Woodshop Grants Program Official Rules for the Ten $10,000 Woodshop Grants Program These Official Rules ("Rules") govern the Ten $10,000 Woodshop Grants Program (the "Program") sponsored by The Paul and Pascale Edelman Giving Fund (the "Sponsor"), located temporarily at 420 West End Avenue, New York, NY 10024. By applying, applicants agree to these Rules and confirm eligibility.

The Program awards ten (10) restricted grants of $10,000 each to U.S.-based woodworkers and furniture makers exclusively for woodshop improvements through the purchase of machines and tools. Must be an individual small business owner who is a legal U.S. resident, aged 18 or older (or age of majority in their jurisdiction).

Should have at least three (3) years of experience or specialized training in woodworking or furniture making, evidenced by a professional portfolio. Employees, officers, trustees, immediate family, or household members of the Sponsor are ineligible. Void where prohibited.

Sponsor may verify eligibility and disqualify non-compliant applicants. Applications open on or about December 1, 2025, and must be received by 11:59 PM ET on March 31, 2026 ("Deadline"). Sponsor may adjust the period with notice.

No purchase or payment required; it will not affect selection. Submit applications by email to grants@paulandpascale. com with required materials (e.g., contact info, the story of your woodworking and woodshop journey so far (not too long), examples from your portfolio, statement of intended use).

One application per person. Incomplete, late, or multiple submissions will be disqualified. If selected, applicants grant Sponsor a perpetual, royalty-free license to use submitted materials for Program promotion.

Recipients selected by Sponsor-appointed judges based on necessity, artistic merit, potential impact, proposed use, and Program alignment. Decisions are final. Recipients announced and notified by the end of April 2026.

Grants distributed by the end of May 2026 via electronic transfer, after eligibility verification (including IRS Form W-9). Recipients must submit a report within 12 months detailing fund use; failure may require repayment. Funds must be used solely for woodshop improvements via purchase of machines and tools.

Funds are not for rent, bills, family expenses, dinners at restaurants, professional development, etc. Recipients are solely responsible for all taxes; Sponsor will issue IRS reporting as required (e.g., Form 1099). Applicants consent to Sponsor's use of their name, likeness, residence (city/state), and materials for publicity without compensation (unless prohibited by law).

Personal data used only for Program administration and in accordance with applicable law. Sponsor and its affiliates are not liable for lost/incomplete applications, technical issues, or any damages arising from participation or Grant use. Applicants release Sponsor from all related claims.

Governed by New York law; disputes resolved exclusively in New York County courts. Subject to all applicable laws, including IRS rules for private foundation grants to individuals. Consult a tax advisor for implications.
