This is a first-come, first-served grant program based on criteria described in the Request for Grant Applications (RFGA) below. to get updates on important dates for grant applications. Determine if you are eligible Individuals and entities with an on-road heavy-duty or medium-duty vehicle registered to operate in Texas.
Replacement or repower of an eligible medium-duty or heavy-duty vehicle powered by gasoline or diesel with a vehicle or engine Eligible natural gas fuels: compressed natural gas (CNG) liquefied natural gas (LNG) liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) list of eligible vehicles, engines, and conversion systems that meet program requirements and qualify for replacement.
An applicant may request to add vehicles or engines to the list of qualifying vehicles when they submit their application. Review Documents to Ensure Eligibility List of Eligible Vehicles Estimate your maximum grant amount Maximum Grant Amount Tables to determine your potential grant amount.
Applicants may be eligible for up to the maximum grant amount listed for the type of activity or 90% of the incremental cost (the eligible costs associated with the qualifying vehicle or engine minus scrappage value), whichever is less.
