Early Learning Program Grants and Scholarships Early Learning Programs that have current Provider Agreements and operate within the our 14-county region are eligible to participate in grant and scholarship opportunities. Grants and scholarships will be awarded to Texas Rising Star (TRS) providers first and to those providers who have submitted TRS interest forms.
Funding for grants and scholarships are made available by Texas Workforce Commission and Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas. CDA Application Fee Scholarship Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas is now offering a CDA Application Fee Scholarship!
Eligible participants must work for an early learning program located in the Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas Board Area that is Texas Rising Star Certified or pursuing Texas Rising Star certification. Qualifying individuals must upload proof of their completed 120 hours of coursework and have completed their portfolio required to obtain the CDA credential.
This scholarship covers the Application Fee required by the CDA Council currently valued at $525. This opportunity is limited based on funding and availability.
