The Texas SLRAP is funded by the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Access to Justice Foundation. Low legal aid salaries coupled with high student loan debt make it difficult or impossible to have a career in legal aid. The Texas SLRAP is a critical part of alleviating this burden and increasing access to justice for low-income individuals.
Texas Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program Qualification and Enrollment Process day-to-day administration of the Texas SLRAP using their model of one-time enrollment, forgivable annual loans, and payments directly to loan nonprofit refinancing organization, making forgivable loans (LRAP loans) that refinance existing student loans.
The Fosterus LRAP refinances only eligible federal and commercial education loans taken to pay qualified information, please view: to request the name of your employer’s LRAP Designated Contact. Qualifying criteria are unchanged and can be found in the Program Guidelines below.
