Our opportunities are available annually through 3 grant cycles with deadlines of February 1, May 1, and September 1. Grant Cycle 1 – Applications Closed APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE: NOVEMBER 1, 2026 DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 1, 2027 Applicants will be notified of their status on or before June 1, 2027 Proposed projects may take place at any time between July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2028 Harold M. Greaney Trust Fund The Harold M. Greaney Fund seeks to fund programs and service from nonprofit organizations serving Perry County citizens.
University Center at Harrisburg Grant Fund The University Center at Harrisburg Grant Fund seeks to fund nonprofit organizations providing services in the area of skill development and work force development. Emerging Philanthropist Program Endowment Fund The purpose of the EPP Endowment Fund is to provide support for mental health. Programs and services for young children who are living with physical or emotional abuse, or neglect.
Perry County Community Foundation Arts & Culture, Community Development, Education, Environment, and Health & Human Services This opportunity also encourages applications that focus upon: substance abuse prevention & treatment; mental health services; programs for young people in Perry County; and programs & projects that focus upon or nurture access to early childhood education.
TFEC Community Equity Grants The TFEC Community Equity Grants will provide grants to organizations actively working to create change and increase access.
Grant Cycle 2 – Applications Closed APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE: FEBRUARY 1, 2026 Applicants will be notified of their status on or before August 1, 2026 Proposed projects may take place at any time between September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027 Programs designed to integrate cultural appreciation in the everyday lives of underserved audiences; most interested in proposals that will increase access to the arts.
Franklin County Community Foundation Arts & Culture, Community Development, Education, Environment, and Health & Human Services Gail Deimler Charitable Fund Healthcare issues and hospice services in the Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, Franklin, Lebanon and Northern York Counties. Brake Legacy Fund Projects and initiatives supporting nonprofit work in St. Thomas, Peters and Hamilton townships in Franklin County.
The Palmer Family Foundation Fund Introduced in 2019, The Palmer Family Foundation Fund, a fund of TFEC offers an annual competitive grant opportunity to any nonprofit visual or performing arts organization located in Franklin County for programs and/or projects that support the arts in Franklin County, PA.
The Fund for Women & Girls The mission of The Fund for Women & Girls, a special initiative of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, is to broaden the awareness of and response to issues affecting women and girls through the power of collective philanthropy.
APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE: JUNE 1, 2026 DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 Applicants will be notified of their status on or before December 1, 2026 Proposed projects may take place at any time between January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2027 Madden Family Foundation Fund The Madden’s seek to provide equal access to high-quality education and resources through partnerships with schools, programs, and communities. Sacks Memorial Fund Youth and family-oriented programs and services that are consistent with the mission of the applicant organization.
Mechanicsburg Area Community Foundation Arts & Culture, Community Development, Education, Environment, and Health & Human Services The fund’s purpose is to assist nonprofits that are tackling mental wellness education and suicide prevention measures in Pennsylvania, with special consideration to those whose goals ultimately assist K-12 students.
TFEC Community Impact Grants This competitive grant is open to nonprofit organizations whose proposed projects serve Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, or Perry Counties and the Dillsburg Area of Northern York County. The Benjamin Franklin Trust Fund is available through the Community Impact Grant application process. A separate application is not needed to be eligible for Benjamin Franklin.
It gives preference to eligible applications serving Mifflin and Juniata counties. Eligible applicants must have 501c3 status, utilize a fiscal sponsor with 501c3 status, or demonstrate nonprofit status as a church, school, or similar entity. Applicants may apply to multiple grant opportunities, but may not submit more than one grant application to each opportunity.
The application may begin at any time during the open application period. TFEC grantmaking does not fund advertising, capital campaigns, direct lobbying to influence legislation, individuals, religious organizations for the propagation of religious doctrine, or retroactive projects. TFEC believes that all voices are vital for our region’s future.
