It's time for **GlobalX. ** ## The 2025 GlobalX Innovation Joint Challenge: AI Innovations for Maritime Security On May 9, ONR Global, in partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) Singapore, announced the 2025 GlobalX Innovation Joint Challenge: AI for Advancing Maritime Security.

This nine-month international science challenge offers significant research partnerships to encourage groundbreaking ideas from technology companies, startups, academic institutions and researchers around the world. This year's challenge addresses critical maritime security challenges, specifically focusing on enhancing: Maritime Domain Awareness, Threat Detection and Response Capabilities.

**The submission stage for the GlobalX Challenge has now officially closed. ** _The winners will be announced on June 30, 2025, at 5:00 p. m.
