the7stars foundation - Lending a hand for a brighter day The7Stars Foundation exists to support the most vulnerable and overlooked young people in the UK (aged 18 and under), providing essential support, skills, and hope for a brighter future. Supporting charities delivering meaningful projects for young people aged 18 and under, particularly those challenged by abuse, addiction, homelessness, and young carers.

One-off grants are available to help organisations create safe spaces, open up new opportunities, and provide vital support and healing for the children and young people they serve. Funding, spanning two years, designed to give organisations the freedom and stability to develop bold responses to the challenges of child abuse, addiction, homelessness and young carers, ideas that reach beyond quick fixes.

With unrestricted support, charities can focus on tackling the root causes of the challenges faced by those who need them most. Funding spanning two years, created to give organisations the freedom and stability to develop ambitious, long-term responses to the complex realities of child poverty.

With unrestricted support and the possibility of added media and communications guidance, charities are empowered to address the root causes of poverty and build sustainable change for those who need them most. Helping charities make a meaningful difference tackling key societal issues affecting young people such as child exploitation, mental health, LGBTQ+ inclusion, anti-racism, and online abuse.

Our long-term funding across two years offers support so organisations can focus on what matters most. Providing small, one-off grants to safeguarding professionals – such as social workers, lawyers, and school outreach officers – on behalf of a young person in need. Funding is designed to give the opportunity, stability, and healing the young person needs to move forward.

Grants can be used to fund activities and essential items that help build confidence, improve wellbeing, open up opportunities, and support recovery. The funding offered through this programme seeks to cover the employer contribution faced by applicant organisations wishing to offer apprenticeship training to their staff. This is typically 5% of the apprenticeship training programme.

Our funding is available to non-levy paying employers. We put the needs of the most at-risk children and young people at the centre of all we do, ensuring every voice is heard and every life valued. We tackle the root causes of disadvantage, striving to break cycles of inequality, raise awareness, and spark collective action—building a more inclusive and compassionate society for everyone.

We assess all causes and grant applications with empathy and impartiality, free from judgement or stigma. We understand the diverse and complex challenges facing young people and are committed to supporting organisations based on genuine need and meaningful impact, not on assumptions or societal bias.
