V. Hunter Trust awards general operating grants, which provide organizations with the flexibility to meet the specific needs of those they serve. We support qualifying 501(c)(3) Colorado nonprofit organizations that offer direct services to individuals living in Colorado.
The current focus of the Trust is to help small organizations – with annual operating budgets of less than $1 million – in communities that are rural or underserved. Hunter Trust does not award multi-year grants. After receiving first-time funding, grantees are invited to apply each year, as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements and priorities of the Trust. What organizations are eligible to apply?
