Grant Application - The Andrews Foundation All proposals received by May 31, 2026 , will be considered for the first cycle of 2026 funding - all decisions on those proposals will be made by July 1st, 2026 . Proposals received after May 31, 2026 , and by November 30, 2026 , will be considered in the second cycle of 2026 funding - all decisions on those proposals will be made by December 15th, 2026 .

Any proposals received after November 30, 2026 , will be considered in the first cycle of funding in 2027. Before submitting your grant application, please note that we only make grants to non-profit organizations in Northeast Ohio, who have verifiable 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS. Frequently Asked Questions How do we know if our organization is the right fit for The Andrews Foundation?

The Andrews Foundation intentionally maintains a broad grantmaking approach, so “fit” is not a determination we make: Rather than limiting our support to specific program areas or types of organizations, our grantmaking is focused on supporting organizations and programs where an Andrews Foundation grant can make the greatest meaningful impact for communities in Northeast Ohio. Can we apply for an operating grant?

Yes, we do make general operating support grants. Do you make grants to Satellite Locations of National Organizations? Decided on a case-by-case basis Do you ever make grants outside of NE Ohio?

No, we do not consider grant requests outside of Northeast Ohio. Do you make multi-year grants? A site visit is possible, but only after receiving a full proposal.

Can we mail in a grant proposal? No, all proposals must be submitted via this portal. How do we know the right amount to ask for in a proposal?

Our typical grant range is $5,000-$15,000. How do I know if the foundation has received my grant application? You will receive an auto-generated email when we receive your proposal, so please check your spam folder.

Can we call to check on the status of my grant? No; We provide status updates based on our cycle schedule deadlines. If we have further questions, who should we contact?
