The fund was established to honor the legacy of Charles Webb and Ed Croft, who founded the Charles Webb Center in the 1930s to support children with special needs throughout the Berkeley- Charleston-Dorchester region. Average award: up to $10,000. Deadline: 11:59 p.
m. February 2, or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend. Organizations in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties serving children with special needs.
Application process and schedule Grant applications are reviewed and recommended by an advisory committee comprised of volunteers who have personal connections to individuals with special needs.
