Community Well-Being: We envision thriving communities and invest in transformative projects that elevate the quality of life – advancing access to healthcare, housing affordability, and essential social services for generations to come.
It is encouraged for nonprofits to have an existing relationship with Clancy & Theys before applying for this grant. Organizations without an existing relationship may still be considered. This grant opportunity is open to nonprofits that work in areas served by Clancy & Theys in the following regions.
Please review the regions/counties served by Clancy & Theys. At this time, applications from organizations outside of these regions will likely not be considered. Central Florida – Lake, Seminole, Orange, and Osceola counties.
North Carolina – Charlotte – Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, and Union counties. Also serves Chester, Lancaster, and York counties in SC. North Carolina – Triangle – Wake, Durham, Orange, and Chatham counties.
North Carolina – Wilmington – Carteret, Columbus, Bladen, Brunswick, New Hanover, Onslow, and Pender counties. Upstate South Carolina – Anderson, Greenville, Pickens, and Spartanburg counties. Grant applications are reviewed on a rolling basis at the beginning of each month.
To ensure your application is read at the start of the next month, it is recommended that applications should be submitted by the 15 th of the month. Note that applications received past that point will still be reviewed, but not until a month later. Decisions regarding grants will be announced to applicants typically during the second week of the month.
Organizations that have previously applied are eligible to reapply after a 12-month waiting period from the date of their first application.

Triangle Community Foundation's GSK Opportunity Scholarship is a scholarship program from Triangle Community Foundation that provides annual awards of up to $5,000 (renewable for up to three additional years, for a total of up to $20,000) to Triangle-area students who demonstrate potential to succeed despite adversity and a strong desire to improve through education. Funds may be used toward any expense listed under the school's total cost of attendance. Eligible applicants must be residents of Chatham, Durham, Orange, or Wake counties in North Carolina, maintain good academic standing, and attend or plan to attend a public college or university in North Carolina. There are no restrictions on degree type or high school attended. Recipients must submit semester reports to continue receiving funding.
