CSL Centenary Fellowships The CSL Centenary Fellowships for early-mid career medical researchers are high-value awards available to Australians who wish to continue a career in medical research in Australia. Two individual five-year $1. 25 million fellowships are awarded each calendar year.

As well as paying tribute to CSL’s origins, the fellowships are an integral part of how CSL delivers on our promise to help foster a thriving medical research community by supporting the development of Australian science.

Learn More About the Heimburger Awards CSL Seqirus Early Career Scientist Award CSL Seqirus has partnered with The European Scientific Working Group on Influenza (ESWI), a collection of influenza scientists and stakeholder organisations with the intention to help reduce the burden of influenza by supporting the research of emerging scientists in the field of vaccines.

Jointly, we are seeking forward thinking and curiosity-driven PhD students who embody the notion of collaboration in their scientific research.

The ESWI Early Career Scientist (ECaS) Award presents a fantastic opportunity to provide financial and networking opportunities to further their careers and was recently presented to Dr. Jenna Guthmiller, An Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz, for her innovative work around vaccination and immunity.

These grants may be used for activities delivered by healthcare institutions, professional societies, and patient organizations.

Examples include educational events, scientific meetings, workshops, training sessions, patient and caregiver programs. Learn More About CSL Grants Patient Organisation Grants CSL provides grant funding to patient organisations as essential partners in advancing meaningful, sustainable improvements in awareness, advocacy, education, patient care and outcomes across our disease areas of interest and rare diseases.

These grants may be used for activities delivered by patient organizations alone or in partnership with healthcare institutions and professional societies. Examples include educational events, patient meetings, workshops, training sessions, and other initiatives that contribute to improved patient advocacy, knowledge, empowerment, and outcomes.
