ELSA & PETER SODERBERG CHARITABLE FOUNDATION Building Pathways to Meaningful Change. The Elsa and Peter Soderberg Charitable Foundation (EPSCF) engages in venture philanthropy through strategic grantmaking and collaborative partnerships that have maximum and catalytic impact. Our goal is to boost the quality of life for the people we serve, with an emphasis on women’s and children’s health and well-being.
We partner closely with our grantees to co-design community-centric solutions that address the most pressing needs with measurable impact. With an emphasis on proximate expertise, we ensure that each initiative maximizes relevance and sustainability. We provide seed funding to test and launch bold and innovative ideas, creating proof of concept that inspires further investment and scales impact.
By taking early-stage risks in pursuit of learning, we catalyze a multiplier effect, enabling innovative solutions to grow sustainably with the support of additional funders, often leveraging tools like matching grants. By supporting short-term, proof-of-concept projects or multi-year, milestone-based initiatives, we seek to lay stable foundation for larger, scalable solutions supported by a diverse donor base.
We believe a diversified donor base and government support and participation is key to attain meaningful change.
