The Empty Stocking Fund – Bring Joy! The Empty Stocking Fund supports children and families in need, as well as equipping under resourced teachers and schools. We believe every child in metropolitan Atlanta deserves the chance to thrive.

For nearly a century, we have been making an immediate difference in the lives of children and families while working toward a more resilient future for all. Send students back to school prepared to succeed! We believe that every educator should have a stocked classroom to inspire learning, support student success, and create an environment where every student has the tools they need to thrive.

Our mobile Teacher Resource Center brings support directly to schools. Help light up the holiday season. Every Christmas, Santa’s Village supports thousands of families in need.

Count the Ways We Create Smiles For nearly 100 years, ESF has provided Christmas toys and gifts to children who may not have received them otherwise – distributing over two million Holiday Gift Packages since 1927.

Title I Teachers Supported through our Teacher Resource Center Teachers from Title I schools throughout the metropolitan area rely on Teacher Resource Center to shop for much-needed school and classroom supplies throughout the year without having to spend their own funds. Each year ESF provides elementary, middle, and high-school Student Supply Kits filled with at least core school supplies to students at Title Ⅰ schools.

Early Access Codes (EACs) are special registration codes provided to select community organizations — such as churches, advocacy groups, and community centers — that work directly with families in need.

Here’s what you should know: What it is: An Early Access Code allows families supported by these organizations to register before the general public. What it means: Families with a code are included in the first round of communication and document verification. What it does not mean: An Early Access Code does not guarantee gifts.

All families must complete registration, upload required documents, and receive approval before being invited to shop. Even if you don’t have an Early Access Code, you’ll still be able to request gifts once general registration opens. Because demand often exceeds our available inventory, we can only invite a limited number of approved families to shop.

To be considered, families must submit the required income verification documents during the "document upload" period. Once documentation is reviewed and approved, families will be placed in a queue based on inventory availability for their children’s age ranges. ESF can only accept the documentation shown in the Proof of Benefits help documentation.

All names and information added must match the documentation exactly. The denial reason is provided by email and is shown in your parent portal. You may resubmit the required documentation, however ESF volunteers cannot comment on or provide assistance with the documents directly.
