Since 1984, we've invested over $100 million in nonprofit organizations whose efforts are aligned with our priority funding issues throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.
We now take a proactive approach to funding by inviting qualifying organizations to submit proposals. We do not accept or review unsolicited proposals or funding requests. Here's what to do to determine your eligibility for consideration and how to introduce us to your organization's mission and goals.
The Foundation has set a goal to widen its outreach. In addition to our existing partners, we seek to learn about and support nonprofit organizations serving smaller and more diverse populations throughout our five state funding area. Honoring a family legacy of education and the success it fostered resulted in the Foundation's $50 million gift to the University of Washington's School of Business.
