The Frost Foundation is sponsored by The Frost Foundation, Ltd.. Supports nonprofit organizations in New Mexico and Louisiana that promote positive, lasting change through innovative programs and services.

Application — The Frost Foundation Our semiannual grant cycles fund organizations serving Louisiana and/or New Mexico . We exclusively fund organizations that qualify as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, organizations fiscally sponsored by a qualified 501(c)(3), or government and tribal entities. If your organization does not meet one of these criteria, you are not eligible for funding.

Before submitting an application, review our Grant Guidelines to determine if you are a fit for funding. We have two annual deadlines for Applications: June 1 and December 1. Please refer to the Grant Cycle Information below for the full schedule of application deadlines and review periods.

The Frost Foundation encourages organizations to apply no more than once every 18 months for our Mid-Year and End-of-Year Cycles. This approach allows us to maintain a dynamic and diverse portfolio while supporting organizational planning and financial resilience. Also, we may recommend that organizations take a break from applying for several cycles after receiving multiple grants.

These pauses allow for both new voices and innovations to be heard as well as encourage sustainability among our existing partners.
