The 2026 Key dates Are as Follows: Monday, January 26 – Grant portal opens for applications Monday, June 29 – Deadline for submitting applications and supporting documents online. The portal will close at midnight.
July – Funding Committee reviews all complete grant applications. Monday – August 3 – Funding Committee announces decisions. Applicants will be notified by email.
August – Grant Contracts will be sent out for signature and return. Your grant award will not be processed if this document is not returned. No later than September 7 – Grant awards will be processed through the San Antonio Area Foundation.
Funds are released within 10 days of entry.
