Preference is given to those programs that can demonstrate active recruitment of women and/or minorities. Funds to be used for any program related costs including: materials, instructor salaries, licensing requirements or marketing. Scholarships ($500-$5,000) Funding for education tuition and fees; paid directly to the educational institution.

Applicant must be 18+ years of age at the time of enrollment in a STEM-C program. Acceptable programs may include those offered at a college, university, tech school, trade school or certification program located in Tennessee, which actively seeks to prepare an individual for a STEM-C career. Applicant must be enrolled in the program.

Recipients are eligible for scholarship renewal on a case-by-case basis. Benevolent Assistance ($500-$5,000) Funding for additional needs (i.e. housing, food, utilities, books) of students enrolled in a STEM-C program. The Interchange Foundation will reimburse qualified expenses.

Grants to Businesses ($500-$5,000) Funding for women and minority-owned qualified businesses* to engage in educational opportunities (i.e. joining trade associations, attending seminars/workshops, completing continuing education courses, etc.) in order to increase their capacity to enter the marketplace. The Interchange Foundation will reimburse qualified expenses.
