The Journey Call for Artist is sponsored by International House. This project focuses on the use of visual arts to illustrate the harrowing, complicated, and hope-filled journeys immigrants and refugees take to come to the United States.
Artists are encouraged to share personal stories of migration, identity, belonging, cultural heritage, resilience, adaptation, and community through painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, fiber art, mixed media, and other visual art forms.
